test post made on tue, may 7, 2019, using the links2 -g web browser on my old linux desktop computer.

since i'm not using the markdown title command (single pound sign) at the start of this post, then this is a note type of post.

links2 -g is blazingly fast.

it's nice that my simple web cms apps support creating and updating posts via the humble html textarea box and my own javascript editor. the textarea box means that i can create and update by using limited web browsers, such as this one.

i logged in via my riseup.net account, which provides an email interface option that does not require javascript.

a client-side javascript-free web world is possible, and such a tech stack is still useful.

today's weather has been overcast, breezy, and chilly with temps hovering around 50 degrees all day due to brisk east-northeast winds.

that's it for this post.
