NetSurf Browser Test Post from My New Lenovo Laptop

Still, still, still something is amiss with the Netsurf web browser when typing in text input fields and textarea boxes. The cursors do strange things, and sometimes the text input fields don't appear, which I'm guessing has to do with how the fields are styled.

And sometimes, like now, what I'm typing in the text area box does not appear on my screen until I move down I hit the enter key a few times. Bizarre.

I like the NetSurf web browser because it's the best of the actively developed alternative web browsers that support a GUI interface.

Today, Mon, Nov 25, 2019, I began configuring my new Lenovo IdeaPad 330S laptop that I bought a couple days ago from Virtual PCs, which is a local store that has existed for more than 20 years.

Virtual PCs installed Ubuntu Linux for me on the machine. One of the many things that I installed today was NetSurf. The install installed NetSurf v3.10(dev).

The NetSurf homepage shows the latest stable version to be 3.9 from July 2019.

I should get involved with the project as a user/tester and mention the issues that I encounter.
