this is a test post made on dec 21, 2019 by using the netsurf web btrowser on my new lenovo laptop.

sometimes when typing within the textarea box within the netsurf web browser, squirrely behavoir occurs, regarding the cursor and typing. it's not a show-stopper, but it's annoying and unfortunate.

here we go. now th eext that i am typing is invisible !!!!

i'm going to leave the above line with the spelling errors because i could not see what i typed. talk about distraction free typing.

the unpredictable behavior of typing within the humble textarea box makes netsurf an unlikely candidate for longterm writing usage.

I should get involved with the netsurf project and file reports of what i observe and maybe that will help the browser.
